Q. Can we bring our dog?
A. We are animal lovers ourselves and would love to say yes, however, the farm policy around Pets does not allow any dogs, unfortunately.
Q. Is The Cottage private?
A. The Cottage is a stand-alone building in the middle of a beautiful valley. Our family home and The Bunkhouse is 1km away.
Q. What is access to The Cottage like?
A. This is easy and straightforward. You will find The Cottage down a short gravel driveway suitable for all vehicles.
Q. When do the activities take place?
A. As your hosts, we try to be flexible and do our best to work around your needs and the weather. There are no set times for activities and we will arrange times with you to suit everyone.
Q. Can we just walk around the friendly animals by ourselves?
A. For health and safety reasons, this is a guided activity only. You will however see some sheep and cattle on the farm walk up to the picnic table. These however are not friendly. If you are wanting to feed the animals, touch them and feed them, you will need to book the Animal and Mini Farm Tour.
Q. If the weather doesn’t allow for activities to take place, do we get a refund?
A. It is very rare we can not do activities because of the weather. We might occasionally postpone activities by an hour or so due to the weather and on the odd chance the weather doesn’t cooperate, we will of course refund your pre-paid activities.
Q. Should we bring any specific to the farm?
A. Packing for all four seasons is a great idea. Covered shoes are a must and gumboots or hiking boots are helpful if you have them.

A. Our two accommodation options are 1km away from each other. Please note The Bunkhouse is set amongst our home and main gardens, and The Cottage is set fully private amongst nature.
Q. Do you take more than one booking at a time in The Bunkhouse?
A. No never. This ensures your group has the Bunkhouse to themselves. Please note, The Bunkhouse is set amongst our home and gardens, therefore you will see our family and two children about if you choose to book this space. For a fully private option, book The Cottage.
Q. How do we confirm our booking?
A. Once all accommodation and activities have been confirmed over email, bookings need to be paid in full. This can be done by either paying to our NZ bank account or via Pal Pal (an additional 4.5% is added to your bill when using the later option).
Q. Do you provide Wifi?
A. Yes, WIFI is provided free of charge. However, there will be charges for excessive uploading or downloading due to the high cost of internet in the hills!
Q. Can our meals be catered for?
